This mathematics app helps students learn basic math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) by testing the students ability to solve problems quickly and accurately. The student attempts to answer as many (addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division) questions as possible in just one minute.
In the classroom, this app can be used to create contests or competitions. A sign on the wall can keep track of best scores in the class. At home, the student can practice to improve their speed and accuracy.
The one minute time frame allows for repeated trial runs in a relatively short period of time.
Its fun and engaging, and with a little creativity can be used to create an environment where basic math facts are more easily remembered.
